Formulas
How the numbers work.
Every price, payout, percentage and timer in Dotco, explained in plain words. This page is built from the same rules the bot uses, so it is always up to date.
Your Net Worth
Your net worth is everything you own added together:
- Cash and bank balance
- Your share of your business's value
- Your properties (at 80% of what you put into them)
- Shares you hold in other players' businesses
- What your collectibles are worth right now
Leveling Up
- Your player level goes up to level 100, and each of your 8 skills goes up to level 50.
- Each new level needs more XP than the last — it gets slower as you go.
- Higher skill levels earn you a bonus on related work.
- Buying something from the shop for the first time gives XP (see below).
- Courses teach a skill (and half of that XP goes toward your player level):
| Course | Cost | Time | Level needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basics | $25 | 2 min | 1 |
| Advanced | $150 | 8 min | 5 |
| Expert | $600 | 25 min | 15 |
Jobs and Contracts
The better your skill, the more a contract pays. You earn an extra 10% if the job matches your career, and another 10% if it matches your specialization.
| Job | Base pay | Time | Skill level needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quick job | $200 | 2 min | 1 |
| Contract | $700 | 6 min | 5 |
| Major contract | $2,500 | 20 min | 12 |
Job slots
You can work on more than one contract at the same time once you level up. Each one pays and trains exactly as if it were your only job.
| Player level | Contracts at once |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1 |
| 10 | 2 |
| 20 | 3 |
| 30 | 4 |
| 40 | 5 |
Crew projects stay open for 1 hour and pay a 5% bonus per extra crew member who joins.
Careers and Specializations
- Promotions need enough work XP for each rank — see your career's ladder.
- At rank 2 you can pick a specialization, which gives a permanent 10% bonus on matching work.
- Qualifying costs $5,000, needs skill level 15 and 10 jobs done.
- You can only change specialization once every 3 days.
Businesses
- What it costs to open each business, and what a level 1 shift earns:
| Business | Start-up | Level 1 shift |
|---|---|---|
| Market Stall | $12,000 | $240 |
| Café | $18,000 | $450 |
| Courier Company | $24,000 | $540 |
| Repair Workshop | $24,000 | $540 |
| Fitness Gym | $26,000 | $750 |
| Trading Agency | $28,000 | $648 |
| Construction Firm | $32,000 | $756 |
| Finance Consultancy | $32,000 | $756 |
| Software Studio | $32,000 | $756 |
| Radio Station | $38,000 | $1,425 |
| Small Factory | $40,000 | $1,080 |
| Film Studio | $42,000 | $1,650 |
| Boutique Hotel | $60,000 | $1,620 |
| Casino | $75,000 | $1,500 |
| Shipping Line | $100,000 | $2,160 |
| Tech Corporation | $180,000 | $2,880 |
| Social Network | $250,000 | $3,750 |
| Investment Bank | $320,000 | $3,780 |
| Charter Airline | $600,000 | $8,250 |
- You can run a shift every 10 minutes. Higher-level businesses and higher-skilled workers earn more per shift.
- Upgrading a business costs money and has requirements — up to level 50. The price grows with the level: it starts at about a quarter of the business's start-up price, then scales with how much extra money the next level will earn.
- A business's value = its bank balance + half of everything ever invested in it.
- Big moments (level 10, 25, 50) get announced on the server.
Property
- Rent builds up every hour, but stops adding up after 24 hours — collect daily.
- The city takes 10% tax from every rent collection.
- Rent can only be collected once at least $50 is waiting (the button stays disabled until then).
- Slots: you can own 2 properties to start, then 2 more at levels 10, 20, 30 and 40, up to 10.
- You can own at most 3 of the same property, with these rules for extra copies:
- Renovate first: your 2nd copy needs one copy renovated to level 5, and your 3rd needs one at level 10.
- Wait: 24 hours between buying copies of the same property.
- Price goes up: each copy costs 25% more than the last. A $40,000 Townhouse costs $50,000 as your 2nd copy and $62,500 as your 3rd. Selling a copy still pays 80% of the normal price plus renovations, so the extra isn't paid back.
- Money cushion: buying or renovating needs 150% of the cost in cash. A $1,000 property needs $1,500 in cash, so you're never left broke. You still only pay the $1,000.
- Renovation: each property goes up to level 10. Each level costs more than the last: level 2 costs 10% of the property's price, level 3 costs 20%, and so on up to 90% for level 10. All 9 renovations together cost 4.5× the property's price. A $40,000 Townhouse costs $4,000 to reach level 2, $36,000 to reach level 10, and $180,000 for all of them.
- Every level adds 20% of the starting rent, so a level 10 property earns 2.8× its starting rent.
| Property | Price | Rent an hour (level 1) | Rent an hour (level 10) | Level needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Parking Spot | $5,000 | $16 | $44.80 | 1 |
| Studio Apartment | $15,000 | $50 | $140 | 1 |
| Duplex | $25,000 | $86 | $240.80 | 5 |
| Townhouse | $40,000 | $140 | $392 | 1 |
| Shopfront | $80,000 | $290 | $812 | 1 |
| Warehouse | $150,000 | $560 | $1,568 | 1 |
| Beach House | $200,000 | $760 | $2,128 | 20 |
| Office Floor | $300,000 | $1,140 | $3,192 | 1 |
| Apartment Tower | $750,000 | $2,900 | $8,120 | 1 |
| Hotel | $1,500,000 | $5,900 | $16,520 | 30 |
| Shopping Mall | $3,000,000 | $12,000 | $33,600 | 40 |
| Skyscraper | $7,500,000 | $30,500 | $85,400 | 50 |
- Selling a property back gives you 80% of its normal price plus what you spent renovating it.
The Shop and Collectibles
- Featured items get a 15% discount each week. Seasonal cards and banners are never featured; they only appear in the shop during their own month.
- Collectibles grow in value every week you hold them — between 0.4% and 1.75% per week, each up to a maximum of 1.5× to 4× its shop price.
- Selling back: collectibles pay their current value; everything else pays half its shop price.
- Limited editions are one-per-player; every other collectible can be bought as many times as you like.
- Limited editions have 1,000 copies max — when someone sells one back, it returns to stock so others can buy it.
Shop XP
The first time you buy each item, you get 1 XP for every $1,000 it costs, at least 10 XP and at most 500 XP. Buying the same item again, or getting it as a gift, gives no XP. This counts for everything you pay for in the shop, including robbery tools and protection.
| Price | XP |
|---|---|
| $5,000 | 10 |
| $50,000 | 50 |
| $250,000 | 250 |
| $500,000 or more | 500 |
Card borders
There are 58 card borders, numbered #1 to #59 (#26 was retired). Border #1 is the cheapest and each one after it costs about 7% more than the one before, up to border #59. Prices are rounded to the nearest $500. In the shop, pick a rarity to see that tier's borders.
| Rarity | Borders | Price range |
|---|---|---|
| Common | #1 – #15 | $10,000 – $25,500 |
| Rare | #16 – #30 | $27,500 – $70,500 |
| Epic | #31 – #45 | $75,500 – $194,500 |
| Legendary | #46 – #59 | $208,000 – $500,000 |
Seasonal card backgrounds
Some card backgrounds are seasonal and can only be bought around their holiday. Each one costs $250,000.
| Month | Theme |
|---|---|
| January | New Year |
| February | Valentine's Day |
| March | St. Patrick's Day |
| April | Easter |
| May | Cinco de Mayo |
| June | Pride |
| July | Summer |
| August | Dog Day |
| September | Labour Day |
| October | Thanksgiving |
| November | Halloween |
| December | Christmas |
A seasonal card goes on sale 2 days before its month starts and leaves the shop when the month ends. Dates follow the UTC+14:00 time zone, the first in the world to reach each new day, so nobody misses the start. If you already own a seasonal card, you keep it forever.
Banners
New banners cost $5,000 each. Seasonal banners only sell from 3 days before their month until it ends. Earned banners are never sold.
Paying Players and the Market
- Sending money costs a 2% fee, max $1,000,000 per payment.
- Market sales pay a tax set by each server's admin in
/server. - You can have up to 10 market listings at once.
Weekly Bills
- Once you reach level 5, a weekly bill arrives every 7 days. It grows with your level, net worth and income — but it's always at least $25.
- You get 3 extra days after it's due before a 10% late fee is added.
Daily and Weekly Rewards
- Day 1 of a streak pays $1,500 plus 60 XP. Each day in a row adds $250 and 10 XP.
- The reward stops growing at day 15: $5,000 plus 200 XP. It stays at that amount every day until your streak breaks.
| Streak day | Cash | XP |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $1,500 | 60 |
| 5 | $2,500 | 100 |
| 7 | $3,000 | 120 |
| 10 | $3,750 | 150 |
| 15 and later | $5,000 | 200 |
- Missing a day resets your streak. Premium players get 1 streak freeze a week (weeks start on Monday): if you miss exactly one day, your streak carries on.
- The weekly reward is $15,000 plus 750 XP.
- Every new player starts with $1,000.
Missions
/missionsgives you a set of 2 to 5 tasks, each worth $750–$4,500 plus 60–220 XP — harder goals pay more.- You have 24 hours to finish a set before it expires; unfinished missions are lost.
- Clearing the whole set pays a bonus of $2,000 plus 150 XP, then new missions arrive 12 hours later.
- Shift missions only appear if you work at or own a business.
The Casino
The casino only ever uses in-game cash. There is no way to buy casino money with real money.
To play any /casino command you need a Casino Card, bought once in /shop → Other for $10,000. It can be gifted, and selling it back (half price) locks the casino again.
- The smallest bet is $1. Your biggest bet depends on your casino tier (below).
- Every bet is taken from your cash first and paid out the moment the game ends. A double tap or a lag spike can never take or pay a bet twice.
- One-press games (slots, coin flip, dice, roulette, wheel, plinko, scratch, keno, limbo, baccarat, video poker) settle the moment you press play, but the message only shows your result once the animation has finished, about 1 to 2 seconds later.
- 1% of every bet (except poker) goes into the shared jackpot, and 1% goes to the player-owned casino in your server, if there is one. Neither changes what you can win.
What each game pays
"Pays" is what you get back in total, including your bet. "Return" is the average share of all money bet that comes back to players over many games.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coin flip | Heads or tails | 1 in 2 | 1.96x | 98% |

Zero on the roulette wheel loses every bet except a bet on the number 0.
Slots
Each of the three reels lands on one of 32 equally likely stops:
| Symbol | Stops per reel | Three in a row pays |
|---|---|---|
| Cherry | 10 | 5x |
| Lemon | 8 | 8x |
| Bell | 6 | 15x |
| Star | 4 | 30x |
| 7️⃣ Seven | 3 | 60x |
| Diamond | 1 | 100x and the whole jackpot |
Exactly two cherries anywhere pay 2.3x. Three diamonds come up about once in 32,768 spins.
Blackjack
- Six decks, shuffled fresh for every hand. The dealer stands on every 17.
- A blackjack (an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards) pays 3 to 2 (2.5x back). If the dealer also has one, you get your bet back.
- Double: on your first two cards, bet the same again and get exactly one more card.
- Split: two cards of the same value become two hands, each with the same bet. You can split once. Split aces get one card each, and a 21 after a split is not a blackjack.
- A tie gives your bet back. A hand left alone for 15 minutes stands by itself.
Crash (multiplayer)
- A round boards for 30 seconds; anyone in the channel can join with their own bet.
- After launch the multiplier grows 6% every second: 2x after about 12 seconds, 5x after about 28 seconds, 10x after about 40 seconds.
- The rocket blows up at a random point. The chance it reaches a multiplier is 97% ÷ that multiplier: 2x happens 48.5% of the time, 10x 9.7% of the time. About 3% of rounds blow up at the start (1.00x). The highest possible point is 1,000x.
- Press Cash out to get your bet times the current multiplier. Set auto to cash out by itself at a multiplier you choose. Anyone still on board when it blows up loses their bet.
Texas Hold'em poker (multiplayer)
- 2 to 6 players. Everyone pays the same buy-in to sit down. The host starts the game and deals the cards.
- Each player gets two private cards; five shared cards come in three steps (flop, turn, river).
- On the flop and the turn, staying in costs half the buy-in again; otherwise you fold. Anyone who hasn't called when the host deals on folds.
- The best five-card hand from your two cards and the five shared cards wins the pot. Ties split it evenly. If everyone else folds, the last player wins.
- The house keeps 5% of the pot, at most $500. A table that never starts closes after 10 minutes and gives every buy-in back.
- Poker buy-ins don't add to the jackpot.
Higher or Lower
- Cards come from a full shuffled deck every draw; aces are high. A tie (same rank) loses.
- A right guess multiplies your payout by 97% × 13 ÷ the number of ranks that win. Example: on a 5, "higher" wins with 9 ranks, so it pays ×1.40.
- Cash out any time after your first right guess. The game stops by itself after 10 right guesses.
Mines
- A 4×5 board of 20 tiles hides 1 to 10 mines (3 if you don't pick). Each gem you open raises the payout to 97% × the fair odds of having found that many gems. Example with 3 mines: 1 gem pays 1.14x, 5 gems pay 2.43x.
- Hit a mine and you lose the bet. Cash out any time after the first gem.
Plinko
The ball bounces left or right at 8 rows of pegs and lands in one of 9 slots (middle slots are most likely: 70 in 256 for the centre, 1 in 256 for each edge).
| Slot (edge → centre) | Low | Medium | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edge | 5.6x | 12x | 26x |
| 2nd | 2.1x | 3x | 4x |
| 3rd | 1.1x | 1.2x | 1.5x |
| 4th | 1x | 0.7x | 0.3x |
| Centre | 0.4x | 0.4x | 0.2x |
Wheel of Fortune
25 equal segments: 13 × 0x, 1 × 1x, 6 × 1.5x, 3 × 2x, 1 × 3x and 1 × 5x.
Scratch card
| Three of a kind | Pays | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Diamond | 20x | 1% |
| 7️⃣ Seven | 5x | 4% |
| Star | 3x | 7% |
| Bell | 2x | 10% |
| Lemon | 1x (bet back) | 15% |
Any other card has no three of a kind and pays nothing.
Keno
The machine picks your numbers (1 to 5 of them, your choice) from 1 to 40, then draws 10 of the 40. You're paid by how many of your numbers were drawn:
| Numbers picked | 1 hit | 2 hits | 3 hits | 4 hits | 5 hits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 3.8x | ||||
| 2 | 1x | 9.8x | |||
| 3 | 2x | 56x | |||
| 4 | 1.5x | 4x | 205x | ||
| 5 | 1x | 3x | 12x | 835x |
Blank cells pay nothing. Every row returns about 95%.
Baccarat
Eight shuffled decks. Aces count 1, tens and picture cards 0, everything else its number, and only the last digit of a total counts (7 + 8 = 15 counts as 5). Player and Banker get two cards each. If either has 8 or 9, nobody draws. Otherwise Player draws a third card on 0-5, and Banker draws by the standard table:
| Banker total | Banker draws when Player's third card is |
|---|---|
| 0-2 | always |
| 3 | anything except 8 |
| 4 | 2-7 |
| 5 | 4-7 |
| 6 | 6-7 |
| 7 | never |
If Player stood, Banker draws on 0-5. The closest total to 9 wins. On a tie, Player and Banker bets get their money back.
Limbo
Pick a target, like 2x or 10.5x. A number from 0.97x up to 1,000x is rolled: the chance it reaches your target is 97% ÷ your target (a 2x target hits 48.5% of the time). If it does, you're paid your target times your bet.
Video poker (Jacks or Better)
You're dealt 5 cards from one deck. The machine holds the cards worth keeping for you (any paying hand or pair, four cards of one suit, or else jacks and higher), then replaces the rest once.
| Final hand | Pays |
|---|---|
| Royal flush | 800x |
| Straight flush | 50x |
| Four of a kind | 25x |
| Full house | 9x |
| Flush | 6x |
| Straight | 4x |
| Three of a kind | 3x |
| Two pair | 2x |
| A pair of jacks or better | 1x (your bet back) |
The jackpot
- Every casino bet except poker adds 1% to one jackpot shared by every server.
- Three on the slots win the whole jackpot on top of the 100x payout. The jackpot then starts again.
- The jackpot is always worth at least $5,000.
Player-owned casinos
- Start one with
/businesslike any other business: $75,000 to open, and a level 1 shift earns $1,500. - In each server, the highest-level casino owned by a player of that server is "the house". It earns 1% of every casino bet made there, and 1% of every poker pot, paid straight into the business account.
Casino tiers
Your tier comes from the total of every bet you've ever made, win or lose. Every casino message (and your casino profile) takes your tier's colour, and so do the main casino icons. Normal players keep Dotco purple.
| Tier | Total bets | Biggest bet | Colour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | $0 | $10,000 | Purple |
| Bronze | $10,000 | $25,000 | Bronze |
| Silver | $100,000 | $50,000 | Silver |
| Gold | $1,000,000 | $100,000 | Gold |
| Platinum | $10,000,000 | $250,000 | Platinum |
| Diamond | $50,000,000 | $500,000 | Diamond blue |
The progress bar on /casino is how far your total bets are between your tier and the next one: (your total bets − this tier's total) ÷ (next tier's total − this tier's total).
Your casino record (games, wins, losses, total bets and biggest win) shows in /casino and in the Statistics part of /profile, which follows your privacy settings. /casino shows the full record and a progress bar to the next tier to everyone.

Every achievement pays its cash reward and 50 XP once, the moment you qualify. Casino, shop and collection achievements are checked after every casino game and every shop purchase.

Leaderboards
- Player leaderboards show real values, but anyone who hides their net worth appears as "Anonymous player" with a covered amount like $X,XXX.xx.
- Server rankings use the middle (median) player's net worth, so big servers don't automatically win — and players who hide their worth don't affect it.
